As of right now the hunting lobby are weaponising their hounds to try and save their pastime. They claim a trail hunting ban would result in thousands of foxhounds 'being destroyed'.
The reality is hunts are already killing healthy hounds for failing to make the grade.

It’s always seemed ironic to us that the hunting lobby are voicing concern about the future of “their” hounds when the treatment of these animals hardly suggests much in the way of love for these animals.

By sharing the stories of rehomed hounds, we aim to show the public, politicians, and the media that these animals are fully capable of living happily in homes.
In doing so, we can shed light on the grim reality: foxhounds are often treated as tools by hunts, kept in poor conditions, and then euthanized when no longer deemed useful.
